The Awards Plus Art Department uses CorelDraw software. We can accept both PC and Mac files, although we work primarily on a PC platform. We can accept compressed archives created with either StuffIt or WinZip. We prefer that original files be sent in CorelDraw or Illustrator format so we can manipulate the artwork if needed. Do not include in your vector document any linked or embedded files, unless they are true vector images.

Corel Draw. All text must be converted to curves.

Adobe Illustrator. All text must be converted to outlines.

Macromedia Freehand. All text must be converted to paths and your document must be exported as an EPS.

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, or WordPerfect documents cannot be accepted as art. Art charges will apply for recreating your image in Adobe Illustrator. In addition, we will require a hard copy of any image submitted in one of these formats.

Also acceptable are tif files at 300 dpi resolution. We will size your artwork free of charge. If required, we will PMS color match as closely as possible, but due to differing methods of imprinting, exact color match cannot be guaranteed. If additional artwork is necessary, a $40.00 per hour charge will be applied to the order, subject to your approval. Notification will be sent before proceeding.

We offer virtual color proofs for free on completed orders over $500.00. Virtual proofs for cancelled orders or orders smaller than $500.00 will be invoiced for $40.00.

Proofs: Virtual Proofs are free of charge with submitted orders only. A full Pre-production sample proof is $50.00 plus die, screen and set-up charges if applicable.
